After living in Boston Kate & Dick moved to Weston, Mass, where their son Lucien was born in 1971. While living in Boston Kate began her modeling career working at Coply 7 Agency. Through this work she became Boston’s “Kakas’s Fur” lady. By 1973 they moved to White Plains, where Doug was born a year later. When she moved to White Plains she continued her modeling career at Willamenia Agency as she developed an interest in color field abstract painting.
