Kate and I were classmates at Vassar. To this day, I have always thought of her as a wonderful friend. Our lives separated us, but I had always thought I would reconnect one day. Sadly, I did not and only this week did I learn of her passing. There are many of us out there who knew her and loved her spirit, those eyes, and that amazing smile. In my mind, she will always be Kate Learson, a very special person who made my life brighter for a few years. Gay Fialko, class of 1964
